2nd January 1929 - 3rd August 2021. I haven’t been able to write this until now, but heaven has welcomed a man who was great in every sense of the word. He was so kind, genuinely selfless, giving, funny, talented, skilled, brave, caring, and the list goes on. He taught me so many things, but especially how to be a good man, a good person, and to get a job done well. Every day when he dropped me off at school he would kiss me on my forehead and say “do your best Joe, you can’t do nothin’ more.” That was also the last thing he ever said to me, on the phone a week ago. I can’t comprehend yet how life is going to be without you, but I promise I will do my best for you Grandad. Rest in Peace Derek Ronald Griffiths from your grandson Joe
